All Time Favorite

PUTO CHEESE

Puto cheese is one of the variations of steam rice or steam flour. It is very popular in the Philippines,often served as a dessert or mid-afternoon snack. It is usually eaten with "dinuguan "or with hot coffee.  Here is my simple recipe of “Puto Cheese”.
Ingredients:

4cups  cake flour
2cups  sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1pc. egg
1/2 cup melted butter
1cup evaporated milk
2 1/2 cups  water
1/2 cup slice cube cheese

Procedures:
1.      Combine all dry ingredients (cake flour, sugar, baking soda), mix well
2.      Add   egg then gradually pour the evaporated milk, water, mix  melted butter and cheese. Stir well until mixture is smooth.
3.      put the mixture in a molder and steam it for 15 min. (optional you can put slice cheese for toppings)
