Longganisa Recipe
Longganisa is one of the favorite foods of Filipino. This recipe is rich in Niacin that promotes normal digestion and healthy skin. Try this simple recipe.
Ingredients:
1 head crushed garlic
2 onions chopped
2 tbsp salt
2 tbsp soy sauce
2tbsp black pepper
1/2 cup sugar
4 tbsp vinegar
115g tomato sauce
plastic wrapper or wax paper
Procedures:
- Mix all ingredients well. Refrigerate for at least 2 hrs. it is better to rest it over night
- Place every 2 tbsp of mixture of wax paper or clean plastic wrapper
- Roll to form longganisa shape.
- Remove paper or plastic and fry desired number of longganisa pieces in hot oil until brown.
- Store the rest in freezer. Will last for about 1 month in freezer.
